Counter Strike tutorial: surf_ski_2
READ: Edit: a lot of people have been asking how I recorded and edited this video. I didn’t use any screen capturing software. It’s complicated, and I’m not going to teach you the full process but the general thing is as follows: 1) Make a demo (record/stop), view it (viewdemo demoname.dem), find the spot you want 2) Play the demo and type “startmovie name 90″ (or whatever fps you wish), when you are done, type “endmovie” 3) This will take a lot of time. Once you’re done, you’ll find all the pictures inside your cstrike folder. Use programs like VirtualDub to compress the pictures together into a video. 4) To edit, add effects and put together the clips, I use a program called Sony Video Vegas 8.0 Needed: Knowledge of how to surf, for mario you might have to be quite advanced. Special thanks to montagical for the video tutorial of how to make the intro. Oh and sorry about the 30 or so seconds of blank blackness in the end, dont know why it got there :S Edit: Theres one good way of how to enter mario that i forgot to show. Start diong everything i did at 01:25. Through the very first boost, turn left right after it, work your way to the last thing and do the same thing i did with the other mario ones. This is a good and a fast way, i use it a lot but if your not that good at surfing you will probably fail doing this.

Latest Mode of Entertainment: Online Games
“Everybody likes playing games… no matter what age, no matter what gender, or nationality.”
Different age groups reveal different gaming preferences and behavior. One-third of adults spend 10 hours or more playing games each week, compared with 11 percent of teens. Adult gamers favor games on PCs rather than consoles and spend more time playing each week than do teenage gamers, according to the 2006 Gaming Technology Study released by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). Teens tend to be more social when gaming. Teenage girls comprise a large portion of multiplayer gamers. While teens do play opponents in person they’re likely to play games online. Seventy-eight percent of male teens play online, compared to 58 percent of female teens. Above facts surely prove that emerging online games are proving to be the most popular source of entertainment these days
Enjoying an Internet game does not have to cost a lot of money. Free online games come in an assortment of forms. Some can be played right through a browser window, while others require a client that can be downloaded free of charge. Plenty of online multiplayer games have no access fees, and can provide months or even years of entertainment just for the price of the game itself. Online shooters like Counter-Strike, Battlefield, and Call of Duty are good examples of this; another nice thing about single-player games is that these can be revisited years later without having to worry about whether game servers are still available, or whether anyone is still playing.
Online players can be categorized into following six different categories:
· Power Gamers who represent 11 percent of the games market and 30 cents on the dollar on retain and online games.
· Social Gamers play games as a way to interact with friends.
· Leisure Gamers spend 58 hours per month playing mainly casual titles.
· Dormant Gamers have fewer opportunities to game because of scheduling issues with family, work or school.
· Incidental Gamers lack motivation and play out of boredom but spend 20 hours or more a month playing online games.
· Occasional Gamers play puzzle, word and board games almost exclusively.
Similarly studies show interests of different players in various available games options:
· 52% Puzzles, Board games, Game Shows, Trivia, Cards
· 22% Action, Sports games, Strategy/Role-playing games
· 9% Shockwave/Flash Browser-based mini games
· 7% Persistent Multiplayer universe
· 11% Other
So what are you waiting for? Start playing online games by choosing your favorite game genre. Feeling frustrated? Choose an action game. Feeling lucky? Try the card games or try the favorite ones, puzzle games.
Free online games and computer games
I am somewhat of an expert on finding free online games and free computer games online. I, myself, have been dabbling with computers and computer games since I was twelve years old. Today, aside from playing free online games and computer games I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), twice over. I am also certified by Cisco twice over as a Cisco Certified Network Administrator (or CCNA.) I have enjoyed playing free online games and computer games ever since I could remember seeing computer games. In my time, you could not find free online games, but you could purchase computer games – you usually visited an arcade to play pinball, or play some of the video games of the time. READ ON…I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW TO FIND, DOWNLOAD, AND PLAY FREE ONLINE GAMES AND COMPUTER GAMES – MOST ANY GAME THAT YOU WANT TO!!!
Though free online games came later, I first played computer games when I was introduced to the Atari 400 and the Atari 800 Systems, and the Commodore 64 computer. I was playing computer games like “Archon”, “Dungeons and Dragons”, “Abuse”, “Pooyan”, and a handful of others of which I cannot remember! Apple Computers also had a small computer that played computer games made for the Apple Computer system, but I did not delve too far into the Apple world of computer games.
When I was introduced to Personal Computers (PC’s) I immediately saw the potential of where computers could take video and computer games. Again, this was before free online games. I was enjoying games like “Doom”, “Diablo”, “Tomb Raider”, “Myst”, “Mech Warrior”, and even “Leisure Suit Larry”. (Actually, free online games and computer games were then just becoming available online.)
Add to that the amazing recent technological explosions in the world of computers, and the Internet, and free online games and computer games become even more sophisticated and awesome!!! For free online games and computer games, with more powerful computers, and the Internet, plus newer and better computer game controls and monitors, you can enjoy free online games and computer games across high bandwidth connections; free online games and computer games such as “Counter Strike”, and so many others. What Makes Video Games So Popular
We live in a fast paced world in which things change rapidly. In today’s life, no one has sufficient time at their hands as everyone seems to be too busy. People live a hectic life in which there is no space for entertainment. It might appear that there is no solution to this problem but actually there is a solution to this problem.
Internet games are a possible solution to this problem as they use Internet technology in order to allow people to play games. Internet has become a part of everyone’s life as it has something to offer to everyone. Since Internet is used by a number of people across the world, Internet games are great for entertainment purpose.
Internet games are great for anyone who has Internet access and who wants to have some sort of entertainment or who’s looking for something to kill his time. There are a number of websites that offer free Internet games and there are some paid sites as well. Also, you’ll find a number of people on these sites and so, you can easily kill your time. That being said, Internet games can also be used to relieve someone from stress. Once you get involved in an interesting game, you are bound to forget about all the tensions and this relieves an individual from the stress. This is the reason why some developers have created a number of different kinds of games.
As the technology is improving rapidly, more and more enhanced games are being launched at regular intervals. However, the Internet games can be grouped in four categories.
1. Games that are played directly within the browser simply by visiting the web page that has the game embedded into it.
2. Text-based games that can be played by using some web based forum, Internet Relay Chat (IRC), Telnet.
3. Games that can be played by using an email.
4. Graphical games that require a stand-alone software package installed on the end-user’s machine. Authentication is also required to play such games.
Basically, how an Internet game is played depends on the type of the game that you want to play as some games can be played easily within the browser whereas some games require certain software packages in order to allow people from different locations to play together. Now, if you are wondering what do you need in order to play these games then you need an Internet connection in the first place.
It is advisable to have a moderate-speed Internet connection for browser based games and a high-speed Internet connection is required for graphical games so as to avoid the lagging while enjoying the game. Most of the games are available for free and you don’t need any money to play games unless you want to play paid games. Also, most of the sites that offer Internet games require you to create an account with them which is also free on most of the sites.
The credit for developing Internet games goes to rapid development in technology and to the developers who have created almost every type of game. Card games, shooting games, chess, billiard, arcade games and gambling games are some of the games that are very popular among game lovers and developers have created a number of Internet games based on these games. Half-Life, Lineage, World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike are some of the popular paid games which required high-speed internet connection and software packages to be installed on the machine.
